What is Forgd?
Forgd is one iPhone app that brings your training, nutrition, recovery, and progress into a single system built around your goal, schedule, and equipment, instead of spreading them across a workout app, a food tracker, Apple Health, and your camera roll.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. Forgd works fully without one. It reads from your iPhone's motion data and any Health-connected device; an Apple Watch simply sharpens recovery signals like HRV and heart rate.
Does Forgd work without Apple Health?
Yes. Apple Health is optional. Training, nutrition, and progress all work on their own; connecting Health adds recovery and activity data to the picture, only with your permission.
Can I use my own workout plan?
Yes. You can follow one of the built-in programs across 11 modalities, or build your own from the exercises and equipment you have.
Can Forgd build a plan around my gym equipment?
Yes. You set your equipment access during onboarding (full gym, home barbell, dumbbells, bodyweight, and so on) and the programs filter to what you can actually run.
How does food photo logging work?
You take or upload a photo of your meal. Forgd identifies the visible food components and estimates the meal's calories and macros. You then review and adjust the detected foods and portions before saving it to your log, it's a fast starting estimate, not a lab measurement.
Can I adjust the food Forgd detects?
Always. Every photo estimate is editable, you can change portions or ingredients, and you confirm the final numbers before anything is logged.
Can a trainer see my information?
Only if you connect a trainer with their invite code and turn on specific sharing scopes. You choose per category (workouts, nutrition, body data, photos), including live heart rate during workouts, and can turn any scope off or disconnect at any time. If you never connect a trainer, nothing is shared.
How much does Forgd cost?
$59.99/year, that's $5/month billed annually, or $9.99/month. Both start with a 7-day free trial and unlock the entire app.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, or from the in-app Subscription screen. No retention friction.
What happens after the free trial?
You get a reminder before the trial ends. If you do nothing, your selected plan starts. If you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period. Your logged data is saved to your account and waiting whenever you resubscribe.
